Over the last couple days I’be been giving more and more thought to writing in my journal, a habit that I’ve severely neglected the last couple years. Does blogging count as keeping a journal? Not sure. Even if comments are disabled, there’s still the idea that the content would be publicly viewable, which would probably influence what I write (though, as I think about it, I do filter what I write in a hardbound journal anyway).

Ldsjournal.com offers a service that allows you to take a digital journal and convert it to a hard bound one, which is a nice idea, but doesn’t seem worth it to me – just pick one way and do it.

For now, I think I’m going to buy a new hardbound journal and go that route. I’ll use this blog as a sort of vent for random thoughts/experiences during the day, and the journal for a more reflective, end-of-the-day, here’s-how-life-is approach.
